Mission: To create a community of young business leaders, entrepreneurs, and professionals in the Mid-Ohio Valley for the purpose of strengthening our economy and spurring economic development by retaining, recruiting and advancing our young emerging leaders.
Background: Founded in 2005, Young Emerging Leaders of the Mid-Ohio Valley (YEL) is the regional group for both the West Virginia and Ohio sides of the river for young talented individuals, 21 to 45 years of age. We want to ensure that young business leaders, entrepreneurs, and professionals develop a bond with the local community by building a network among other young leaders. We are committed to sustaining and expand the population of young talented individuals in the Mid-Ohio Valley region. YEL hosts a diversity of events and activities that allows for young leaders to connect with each other and established leaders through professional and social networking, mentor events, and community service.
